ABOUT THE COMPETITION
We, and probably you too, have seen that there is a better food experience than what we have now. This better experience is eating a dish with a beverage that extends the pleasure a bite of the food starts and then, during this extended time, adds tastes and sensations that further elevate the amount of pleasure the bite of food started.
If you think about the very best food and beverage pairing you’ve ever had, the experience you got then is most likely the type of experience we just described. Another great example of this experience is what you get with a foie gras and Sauternes pairing.
This is food and beverage pairing, but it’s a specific type of pairing and pairing experience. We call this type of pairing further elevating pairing because the beverage in the pairing further elevates the pleasure the food creates and we call this type of pairing experience further elevated eating or beverage elevated eating.
Eating with a beverage that creates the further elevating pairing experience creates more pleasure than we’re getting now and we’ve seen in our testing that discerning food lovers prefer this better experience. Unfortunately, we cannot eat this way right now. We want to change this and we need your help.
I have seen that we cannot eat this way now and we cannot moe up to this better way of eating because we don’t know which beverages create this further elevating experience with the dishes we eat.
Also, for any one dish, there are so many suggestions and ideas from the many experienced, knowledgeable, and talented pairers out there, but there is no central body or organization that brings these ideas together, tests them with the dish, determines which ones create this specific type of pairing experience, and which ones do it best.
And there are so many great pairers out there but don’t know who they are.
No such organization exists, so we have created it.
We have created The World’s Best Pairing Competitions and we will hold a World’s Best Pairing Competition for every dish discerning food lovers eat.
For each competition, we will invite people to enter a beverage or beverages, we will have a blue ribbon jury taste them all with the dish, and choose a winner.
I don’t think we will ever reach this next level in delicious food if we don’t do this.
